and Becky's Rig This is Steve's rig from North Carolina. He has not taken new pics of this system in he and Becky's new house in Indiana, but once they do I will put the new, updated home theater online. One such upgrade is changing out the Heresy center for a La Scala. This is a never ending passion. Probably our best HT yet, Becky has stopped asking when I'll be through. Never! For the moment we are happy. It started about 12 years ago with a 27"RCA TV that had "surround speaker" outs... You know the rest. This is a Klipsch based system as you can see: ![]() '77 Klipschorns, (ALK cross-overs) '75 Heresy center, modified w/K-Horn midrange (squawker) and K-Horn AA network. 2 KSP-S6 side surrounds, 2 KSP-S6 back surrounds. Equipment consists of: ![]() Denon AVR-3801, Sony DVP-C650D, JVC S7600 U, Echostar 4700 sat.w/Dolby digital Pioneer CLD-D501 laser disc. 2 Denon POA-2800 power amps(200X2),one feeding the K-Horns,the other feeding the Heresy that's bi-wired.The amps made for a much better low-level extension. Two 12" DIY subs, 1 Kicker Comp.in a 2.5 cu.ft.custom box. Subs are behind the false walls. Powered by a CarverA500x(400X2@4ohm) One 12"powered,ported sub behind the couch, feed through the side surround pre-outs. Seating is 11'from the 52"RCA. Room size is 15.5' X 26'deep I use DH Labs T-14
to the highs & mids on the K-Horns & Heresy.Monster XPHP to the
low end.
