Audio/Video products, and nearly everything associated with them,
are marked up 50-200% and more.
Honesly now, who wants to pay $100 for a satellite speaker
stand? $80 for a pair of wall mounts? $200-500 for loud speaker
stands? Not me! You will learn how to create your own speaker
stands and wall mounts costing only fractions of what the big
companies charge for their products, and many times yours will
exceed theirs in performance.
DigitalDiva Floor Stands
Props to DigitalDiva from the Klipsch Ultimate Bulletin Board
for this idea. Click here to learn how to make your very own speakers
stands using PVC pipe, and match them to your ProMedia 5.1's!
These stands work with ANY ProMedia speaker system, and can be
easily modified to work with other speakers systems.
DigitalDiva Wall Mounts
These are the most economical wall mounts to date for ProMedia
speakers. These are the alternative to wall mounts OmniMount sells
for about $40 each. While more primitive, they are more than enough
for many people, including myself, at 1/10 the cost.
Heresy Speaker Stands
HDBRbuilder comes to rescue once again. Check out these stands
to lift your Heresy's off the ground and still get all that beautiful
bass! The problem with many speaker stands is that they don't
secure themselves to the speaker or they are not braced well.
Both of these errors in judgement movements, slight at most, that
reduce bass responce dramatically. These stands, when built to
spec, don't have these errors and are quite a bit cheaper!
Are you one of those people who just can't be happy with what
you have? I know I am! That is why I created this mods section.
Here you can learn how to improve your listening experience by
creating a visual field of the music and increase the sound quality
by changing the mini plugs and speaker cables.
