Working on the new site design. Bare with me!

Justin ScottAfter nearly a decade of updating you on the latest in computer and high-end audio, I must bring this site to a close. The workload in in college has taken the majority of my time and in order to succeed there, I must take away the time allocated to SoundWise and its affiliated sites.

However, if you'd like to keep up to date with the things going on in my life as well as all the social, technology and audio news that matters to me, as well as periodical reviews, tips and buying guides, please visit my personal blog, It's Just Justin.

You can also follow me on Twitter as @justex07.

Thanks for your support all of these years,

WELCOME
SoundWise is a free service inspired by my purchase of the Klipsch ProMedia v2.400 multimedia speaker system..
When Klipsch introduced their ProMedia line of speaker, it was the first mentioning of Klipsch I had ever seen. I scoured the internet desperately searching for more information on this company before investing $279 into their 4.1 multimedia system.

All my readings lead me to the realization that not only was this speaker system "kick ass", "the best, ever", "amazing" and "unbelievable" among others, this speaker system was going to change my life. I immediately joined the Klipsch Bulletin Board. With little to no knowledge of multimedia systems, sound cards, home theaters, ohms, watts, impedance, I began my learning process, absorbing everything I could from the knowledgable people who posted on the website. It got to be that I was starting to be able to post intelligible information and people began to ask me questions personally! Thus begins SoundWise.
I started the site on GeoCities. As popularity grew, so did my demands. So off to Fortune City I went only to learn that even their free service could not hold my ProMedia help site, which at that time had no name.
My family got involved and began purchasing their own Klipsch. I began to spread the word about them finding more and more people who loved their sound like I.
Finally, I broke down and purchased webspace. Since then, July, 2002, over 1 million people have visited SoundWise making it one of the 3.5 millionth most popular website in the world. While that may not seem like a feat to some, realize that there are over 320 million websites on the internet with every four seconds adding another. I personally think that is pretty darn impressive! I now give help on doing projects like speaker stands, wall mounts and what have you in the Mods section to promoting your sound system in the Rigs section and back to giving general help with your computer and home theaters in the Helpful Info section, which I plan to expand more into the home audio genre as I begin my excursion from multimedia to hi-fi home media. Join the ride!
